Primped and Pampered

So it appears I missed a day.. I just had to go back and change the dates on my last three posts. What did I do the Monday after fathers day? My schedule says I worked all day. hahaha I can't even remember! But once again, I am a week behind...

Okay, last Friday.... Prep day for Claire's open house! I had nothing really to contribute, but everyone woke up early to go grocery shopping and such. Since my new bedroom was the living room, I was woken up around 8ish. That was okay with me though because Gram made me coffee :) We sat at the kitchen table and chit chatted for a while. If I could do that every day, I would have no problem waking up early!

When the girls all left to shop I went and worked out. Just a quickie run and some abs. I came back, showered and at some delic raspberries which are my FAVORITE thing in the world!

I also painted the toeseeeees :D I decided I was in dire need of a hair cut so I called up my old friend Jess, who is now an awesome hair dresser. (is that what they are called? huh....) Now I KNOW my friends told me no, that I should just let my hair grow. but wutevssssssssss I have to deal with the mess on my head! I have a huge issue with always wanting to cut my hair. It will be long one day my friends! Just not today lol. Lucky me, Jess was free at 3 O'clock. Bad thing was, I got some big fat checks in the mail so I last minute decided to get some highlights :)
It was very nice to catch up with Jesse, we were together for a good 3 hours! She verified that indeed my last hair cut had caused a hot mess up in the cranial region- let me advise you all; never get a cheap hair cut at Super Cuts!!! But after a good sesh of hair snipping and organizing- it turned out like this:

Not a very good picture I know... It was hard to get one of myself! And my hair looks a little funky there. Although I liked it- I was still afraid to hang out with "certain friends." I really should stop caring so much what other people think! My friends should know by now- that I think when it comes to my looks I would rather just be lied to because I am very sensitive. (If you don't know that- well now you do!)

After a bit of friend/plan confusion I ended up over at my friend Shane's house with Kp, Erika and KC. Jared and his friends were there and Jackie from work :) It was good to see some familiar faces outside of work or being at home! No pics. I think I need to revive my baby camera- No offense Nikon, but your size is a bit socially unacceptable...
