Tuesday was a cold and rainy day. Although it is summer for us who are on break from college, it sure does not feel like it! Kat and I pretended it was summer anyway. We made home made lemonade!
We got to relax and watch tv while I worked on editing papers that my teacher is letting me work on this summer. Gross... school work? Nahh, it was actually very relaxing to sit down and go through what I have already written without the stress of being actually in school. Plus- my African Diaspora class was very interesting to me, and I feel passionate about the topics I chose to write about.
We made three cheese pasta ravioli for dinner and strawberry rhubarb crisp for dessert! Here is a picture before we added everything- I though the strawberries looked so pretty
Kim, my freshmen year roommate came over after her night class and we got to hang out for a while. I forgot to take a picture! It was so nice to catch up and I feel lucky to now consider her an old friend of mine :). College is flying by! We all ate the entire dessert haha. After Kim left, Kat and I watched the movie, The Lovely Bones. I had read the book when I was about 13. It was a good movie but quite disturbing. Both of us could not sleep so we stayed up till 5 in the morning giggling and watching videos enviously of the Spring Awakening cast. They video blog their tour, and they seem like such cool and funny people! What a fun life that would be.
